Completing the FAFSA can be a long and challenging process for future college students and their families, but doing so is essential to attending college affordably. The Office of Higher Education offers a wide range of resources to make the process easier.
This full-time position works standard office hours, but may be required to work an occasional evening or weekend shift. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in education and experience. The anticipated start date for the position is July 1.
This position is based in Minneapolis and requires the Master of Library Science degree from an ALA-accredited institution, but other combinations of training and experience may be considered. Candidates who are fluent in Spanish are preferred.

MarcEdit software can create, manipulate, and transform library metadata in a variety of MARC formats and standards. This workshop is delivered over Zoom, but is not a passive experience. Participants will be using MarcEdit and learning how to work with data with an instructor.

Anne Fulton, Sage Business Development Partner, will partner with Minitex for a one-hour Sage Campus introductory session on Wednesday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. CDT. Sage Campus is a collection of self-guided online courses for the library, supports the teaching and learning of information and data literacy, foundational research skills, and advanced data science techniques.
This pilot program will continue this summer, with the course running June 10 through August 18. It is open to library staff from Minnesota, South Dakota, and North Dakota.
