EBSCO is introducing navigation improvements on July 7, 2026, that will change how certain features are organized within the EBSCOhost and Explora interfaces. These updates are designed to better align with how library users search, discover, and engage with content, while also creating a more flexible foundation for future enhancements.

Pending contract negotiations, Minitex has finalized a statewide e-resources package that largely preserves the current collection while introducing several strategic additions. The selections reflect community input and SER Task Force recommendations, balancing flat ongoing funding with the need to address emerging resource needs.
In an effort to ensure any AI tools available through our hosted e-resources align with our values, Minitex has used the REACT Framework to evaluate all AI features in our library databases.
We expect to share details about statewide e-resources selections by mid- to late May.
