Session 7: Describing Relationships

In this session we will learn how to incorporate relationships between entities in authority records. We will consider how RDA theory defines relationships and where we record this information in authority records. We will discuss access points and relationship designators to consider when recording relationships. We will understand which sources of information are important for decision making about relationships. We will practice how to look up rules in RDA for recording relationships with examples and exercises.
