Community support, tools, and training for staff working to expand adoption of affordable and open learning

The Minitex Network for Open & Affordable Practices (MNOP) provides support for staff working to increase adoption of OER and affordable content in courses throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Library staff can interact with the community via the MNOP communication channels, participate in training, request consultations, leverage tools for program management, and gain expertise to advance outreach and support for instructors and students.

The MNOP site offers a heuristic self-assessment tool that identifies strengths and weaknesses in the six core practice areas, and helps determine next steps in your professional growth. This loose-knit community works together to identify relevant needs for training, knowledge sharing, and mutual support.
