Minnesota's Office of Broadband Development invites public comment on draft Digital Opportunity Plan

Minnesota’s Office of Broadband Development (OBD) has released its draft Digital Opportunity Plan. The comment period for the plan is now open, and will close September 29. Listening sessions are scheduled in 16 locations across Minnesota, and virtually. An online comment form is also available. Once finalized, the plan will guide the investment of $20 million.

Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library issues call for Minnesota Book Awards judges

The Minnesota Book Awards require 54 dedicated judges to read and review submissions. Judges are sought from across the state of Minnesota to reflect a variety of professional credentials, educational backgrounds, lived experiences, ethnicities, ages, and genders. Preliminary Round judges receive a $750 stipend for their efforts, while Final Round judges receive $500. Applications are due by September 15.
