South Dakota State University Hilton M. Briggs Library is seeking applicants for the position of Digital Initiatives Coordinator. This position is responsible for providing leadership for the development, growth, preservation, and security of digital collections and records management in support of scholars and researchers.

"Legal Issues in Libraries and Archives: an open textbook for library and information science courses" addresses legal issues relevant to librarians, archivists, and information technologists. Publication of the textbook, co-edited by Ruth Dukelow and Michael Robak, was made possible by the Minnesota Libraries Publishing Project.

The Minnesota Digital Library is hosting a Digital Preservation Open Office Hour on Tuesday, December 7th, at 11 am.

Beginning early next spring, Minitex invoices will have a new look. The University of Minnesota wordmark and logo will be prominently displayed at the top of each invoice and the Regents of the University of Minnesota will be indicated as the recipient of payment.
