Minnesota Dream Act training for counselors, educators, and staff

The Minnesota Dream Act was passed by the Minnesota Legislature and signed into law in 2013. The act makes financial aid and in-state tuition rates available to undocumented students who meet certain criteria. This training is intended for counselors, educators, and staff and will be held Oct 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. under the auspices of the Minnesota Office of Higher Education.

Free financial aid events for students and families

The Minnesota Office of Higher Education is in the midst of a series of college and financial aid webinars created specifically for students and families to help them prepare for college. Recordings of the first three sessions are available online, and the final two sessions are scheduled for October 18 and October 25. Spread the word at your library so your patrons don't miss this valuable opportunity.
