Quick Summary
Discuss with librarian colleagues how to support no-cost classes with library resources. We will share concerns and best practices as we create a community to support efforts to make our institutions more affordable.
Minnesota State has been a leader in using Open Educational Resources and Affordable Content in their support of the student Z-Degree. MNPals supports this work among its members, and is facilitating Community of Practice meetings for librarians working on OER/Affordable initiatives. This particular meeting will focus on discussion with librarian colleagues about how to support no-cost classes with library resources. You will be able to share concerns and best practices as we create a community to support efforts to make our institutions more affordable.
All Minnesota librarians are invited to attend. In the spirit of all things open, you do not need to be a part of MNState or MNPals to participate. Join us to discuss this exciting and emerging field.
