Taking time to develop relationships with local city departments, township governments, and civic organizations that fall within our service areas is important to developing equitable and inclusive library programs, aligning service delivery to local priorities, and demonstrating the value of library services. Karen Lemke (Director, Rochester Public Library) and Chad Lubbers (Library Manager, Dakota County Library) will discuss ways to build relationships and how to put those relationships to use.
