The Minnesota Digital Library is pleased to announce an addition to the Weavers Guild of Minnesota collection. This addition includes new issues of The Threadbenders, a newsletter which was produced in the 1970s. Issues of The Minnesota Weaver are also included. Each issue provides information on classes, board meeting, and special events.
The Minnesota Digital Library is pleased to announce additions to the St. Cloud State University Sinclair Lewis Collection in Minnesota Reflections. User can now explore more than 40 photographs of Lewis' life in addition to Lewis' correspondence with Marcella Powers. This addition includes photographs of the Lewis family home in Sauk Centre as well as images of Lewis as an adult traveling in the United States and Europe.
The Minnesota Digital Library is pleased to announce a new contributing organization: Cold Spring Area Historical Society. Cold Spring Area Historical Society has shared a ledger book which served as Ashley C. Riggs' journal from 1852-1873. The earliest entries are from Cold Spring, Minnesota (Stearns County) and Watab, Minnesota (Benton County).
Despite the chilly day, there was a nice-sized group of people in attendance at the rights statements implementation training event on Friday, December 6th at the Northtown Public Library in Blaine. Participants at the event learned about the rights statements, why they are important, and how they help users by providing helpful descriptive information about the rights status of their digital items.

The Minnesota Digital Library is excited to announce a new contributor to our collection, the Polish Cultural Institute and Museum of Winona, Minnesota. The Polish Cultural Institute and Museum resides in a three-story building that was built in 1890 by the Laird-Norton Lumber Company. Their recent contribution includes a beautiful set of 118 different paper cuttings by various local artists.
On Friday, December 6th Anoka County Library - Northtown will be the site of another of our training events for those who want to learn more about standardized rights statements and their implementation.

The Minnesota Digital Library is pleased to announce a new Minnesota Reflections Primary Source Set, "History of Chiropractic in Minnesota." Susan J. Vossberg, the Technical Services Librarian at the Northwestern Health Sciences University, developed and wrote this set. Her Primary Source Set explores the history of Chiropractic medicine in Minnesota, including the development of the various schools and training programs in Minnesota.
