The Minnesota Digital Library added three new standards and best practices guidelines to its website: Metadata Guidelines Version 8.0, Master Images Care and Maintenance, and Best Practices for Naming Electronic Records.
New additions to the Minnesota Digital Library include a set of Bemidji city directories and a collection of letters about the World War I service of Maurice Masterson of Barnesville, Minnesota.
In their first contribution to MDL since 2005, the History Center of Freeborn County has shared a set of plat map books on Freeborn, Dakota, Mower, and Waseca counties.
