A voice for every library: Minitex's Policy Advisory Council

Representatives from every type of library and every Minnesota region, along with one representative each from North Dakota and South Dakota, come together to form the Minitex Policy Advisory Council. The Council is designed to shape Minitex services and plan for the future of the library community.

Minitex Connect offers 24 sessions and 4 tracks to choose from

Library in Smila serves Ukrainians displaced by war

As the war in Ukraine intensified in the weeks since we last heard from librarian Julia Bliznyuk, her library in Smila expanded its service to displaced Ukrainians as well as local patrons. Julia shared this update via Sandra Buckingham, her friend and colleague from East Central Regional Library.

In March of 2021, we launched the Media Landscapes campaign, with funding support from Minitex, the Multitypes, CRPSLA, and PALS. This campaign includes local, regional, and national speakers sharing their knowledge on topics from misinformation to filter bubbles to deepfakes.
