MNLINK transition project update: Vendor demos complete

All vendor demos in response to MNLINK Transition Task Force's request for procurement have been held, and usability and accessibility evaluations are ongoing. Minitex runs MNLINK, Minnesota's statewide interlibrary loan portal. The software that makes MNLINK possible, VDX, will be retired by OCLC in June 2024.

University of Minnesota seeks three Science Liaison Librarians

The positions support the College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Sciences; the College of Biological Sciences; and the College of Science and Engineering. Applicants must hold a master’s degree in library and information science or an advanced science degree in a related discipline.

23 Linked Data Things project update: Things 13-15 published

Thing 13 explores linked data cataloging workflows from OCLC Research's Project Passage. Thing 14 looks at the Wikimedia Commons project, and Thing 15 delves into the ethics of linked data.

Mayo Clinic adds content to Ebooks Minnesota

The Mayo Clinic recently added several of its publications to Ebooks Minnesota. From a graphic novel story exploring the importance of vaccines to books on fibromyalgia and dementia, you can now access comprehensive health resources by the world-renowned and Minnesota's own, Mayo Clinic.
