All vendor demos in response to MNLINK Transition Task Force's request for procurement have been held, and usability and accessibility evaluations are ongoing. Minitex runs MNLINK, Minnesota's statewide interlibrary loan portal. The software that makes MNLINK possible, VDX, will be retired by OCLC in June 2024.
The MNLINK Transition project is continuing to move forward. Vendor demos were held the week of February 19 and many members of the MNLINK community attended the demonstrations and provided the MNLINK Taskforce with valuable insight.
Usability and accessibility evaluations are ongoing, and are expected to be completed the week of March 6. Special thanks to the library staff members who volunteered to do usability testing. It's very much appreciated!
