Minitex staff and librarians who work with eLibrary Minnesota, Ebooks Minnesota, Minnesota Digital Library, and Resource Sharing create monthly Resource Packs for Minnesota schools to highlight content that can be used in the classroom. This month's pack features fiction, nonfiction, and primary sources about Veterans and Veterans Day.

This faculty position is located onsite in Brookings, South Dakota, and offers a minimum salary of $70,000. Applications are due by November 21.

Library open hours are constrained by staff availability and library budgets, but the needs of patrons are best met when the library is open for as many hours as possible, including at irregular times such as early mornings, evenings, and holidays. Many of Minnesota's libraries are now taking the steps necessary to extend their hours, to the great benefit of their patrons.

The Minitex Policy Advisory Council advises the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and Minitex in the planning, development, and evaluation of Minitex programs and services. The council has six new members in 2024, including Kim Dickson, who represents Tribal College Libraries.
