I assume you have, but if you have been distracted over the past few weeks, I’ll catch you up: Minitex has added EBSCO CINAHL Complete and ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Premium to the resources available to all Minnesotans through eLibrary Minnesota. EBSCO Exploring Race in Society free database now available

EBSCO's free Exploring Race in Society database is now available. This free database contains context and solutions-oriented points of view within a scholarly collection of proprietary and licensed content on topics related to race, ethnicity, diversity, and inclusiveness.

EBSCO LearningExpress to require strong passwords

As of July 7, EBSCO will require all LearningExpress users to have a strong password. Users with older passwords will be prompted to change their passwords before August 7.

Setting up links to new Statewide Nursing/Allied Health databases

As of July 1, links to the new Nursing and Allied Health databases in eLibraryMN will be activated and ready for use. Minitex Outreach and Instruction librarians will be offering professional learning opportunities and technical support as you integrate these resources into your library's collection.

Juneteenth: A celebration, and a call to action

Juneteenth became an official holiday in Minnesota this year, following overwhelming votes in both houses of the state legislature, and Governor Walz's signature. Events are planned across the state, including the University of Minnesota's celebration in North Minneapolis on Saturday, June 17, "The Art of Freedom." Minnesotans can learn more about Juneteenth through eLibrary Minnesota, or by visiting their local library.

Happy LGBTQ+ Pride Month! If we want to foster an inclusive and safe environment for all, we must first educate ourselves. eLibrary Minnesota, Ebooks Minnesota, and the Minnesota Digital Library are filled with resources that amplify LGBTQ+ voices and teach us about their experiences and history.
