For the first time since 2019, Minitex staff held its Mini-golf Food Drive event on November 30th - and it was a blast! Staff spent the afternoon playing mini-golf and donating shelf stable food. This year, we decided to donate all proceeds from the food drive to student workers at University of Minnesota Libraries on the Twin Cities campus. Many of our libraries have food pantries for our student workers, and with the holidays and winter break soon upon us, this felt like the perfect choice.

Sign up for both in-person and virtual judging for Minnesota History Day is now open. Judges do not have to be historians! They are seeking volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.

Timelines are useful tools for teaching and learning about people, places, and events in the past. The Minnesota Digital Library has started creating interactive online timelines that place historical images, documents, maps, and more at specific moments in time. Explore these timelines to engage with our digital collections in a new way.

LearningExpress Library, available to all Minnesota residents as part of eLibrary Minnesota (ELM), offers practice tests, tutorials, flashcards, and so much more. How can we, as librarians, teachers, and educators, market and promote these resources to our patrons and students?
