Jennifer De Laundreau, a student who works in the Referral Processing area of Resource Sharing, has recently received Honorable Mention from the Friends of the University of Minnesota Libraries 2018 Outstanding Student Employee Award. This prestigious award is only given to two students each year. Jennifer deserves this recognition and we are proud to share the news of her award with you.
Minitex Resource Sharing and Delivery areas employ approximately 45 student workers. Our student workers develop important skills and experience they can take with them when moving on from the University of Minnesota. While they work with us, they do everything from verification, retrieving, and scanning to preparing items to be physically shipped to one of our participating libraries. By performing invaluable services with enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative they play a key role in our customer service driven environment.
