Delivery staff have some general guidelines when it comes to packing tubs:
1. Put the big stuff on the bottom.
2. Pack the books sitting spine to spine. This will reduce damage to pages while the tub is in transit.
3. Position the request/routing slip toward the outside of the tub. (This is one that we don't always do very well.)
4. Load kits and audiovisual materials towards the top of the tub. The cases are generally fragile, especially in cold weather.
Sometimes when we are in a rush to finish the packing we neglect some of these standards, but we hope you find that your materials arrive in good shape most of the time.
