A recap of the recent Annual Minitex Interlibrary Loan Conference.
The 27th Annual Minitex Interlibrary Loan Conference was held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Continuing Education and Conference Center on the Saint Paul Campus of the University of Minnesota. There were 140 attendees at the event. The keynote speaker was Amanda Moran, Senior Market Analyst for Outsell, Inc. In her presentation "Navigating the Future: Exceeding Stakeholder Demands," Amanda shared data and stories on top trends in the information industry and facing libraries today.
Katie Birch, OCLC Executive Director for Resource Sharing, provided an update on OCLC Resource Sharing products that was very well received. The afternoon consisted of breakout sessions and a plenary session, "Going Together - Working in Teams," was presented by Valerie Horton. All of the sessions received positive feedback from participants. We appreciate all of the staff from libraries in the Minitex region who take time out of their busy schedule to attend this event!
