In her presentation, "Navigating the Future: Exceeding Stakeholder Demands," Moran will identify the trends changing library services today, and provide a roadmap for success. Moran, Senior Market Analyst at Outsell, specializes in library best practices, emerging technologies, library market size and content spending, and the patterns of enterprise purchasing. According to its website, Outsell "believes in a world where people always have access to the information they need, when and where they need it so they can make informed decisions, more quickly and confidently, and improve their own lives and the lives of others."
The conference takes place April 25 at the Continuing Education & Conference Center at the University of Minnesota Saint Paul Campus. Conference registration is due by April 20, and costs just $40.
For the past 27 years, the Minitex Interlibrary Loan Conference has brought together library staff from Minnesota and the Upper Midwest to exchange ideas and build community. In addition to Moran's keynote, this year's conference features plenary sessions from Katie Birch of OCLC and Valerie Horton of Minitex, as well as breakout sessions on self-publishing, microactivism, Alma/Primo, and MNLINK.
