The new conference, Upgrade: Enhancing Library Services with Technology, will take place at the Pyle Center in Madison, Wisconsin. October 6-7, 2025. For full consideration, session proposals must be submitted by March 2, 2025.
The Minnesota Office of Higher Education is offering free information and training sessions for students, their families, and educators, to assist them as they prepare to apply for the 2025-26 FAFSA and Minnesota Dream Act, which are now open.
The maximum grant amount is $500,000. A total of approximately $47.5 million in grant funding is available, to be administered by the Minnesota Department of Education. The deadline for applications is January 3, 2025.
Every year the Minnesota Author Project awards three authors for their work in the following categories: Adult Fiction, Young Adult Fiction, and Communities Create. In the seventh iteration of these awards, Mary Bleckwehl, author of Fetching Dreams, won the Young Adult (YA) category.
