The 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and MN Dream Act forms are open now! We encourage anyone who plans to attend college in the 2025-2026 academic year to apply now. The MN Office of Higher Education has resources available for students and families who need assistance with the application process for the FAFSA or MN Dream Act. Every student will file only ONE application.

Information Sessions for Students and Families
Students and families can review our Fall Ready, Set, FAFSA! series. These recorded sessions cover a variety of financial aid topics. Ready, Set, FAFSA! live sessions are also scheduled in January, so please sign up to join us in the new year!
2025-26 FAFSA Virtual Trainings for Educators
This training is for educators and will focus on getting information to high school counselors and community partners who assist families with FAFSA completion.

This training is for educators who assist families with MN Dream Act completion. Presenters will cover eligibility, the application process, and explain who should file as well as the benefits of filing.
