Sentry Custom Security is offering price reductions on its New and Improved QuickCheck-X™. The QuickCheck-X™ is a user-friendly self-checkout system for library patrons, featuring a touch screen monitor that provides step-by-step instructions for checking out various library materials. It supports traditional barcode labels and electromagnetic (EM) security strips, and is available in configurations including RFID and barcode-only. The system is modular, allowing additional security features, and includes remote administration software for monitoring and managing multiple stations, updating software, and generating usage reports.

The University of Minnesota seeks Collections Facility Operations Specialist with a base salary of $53,185.60. This position requires five (5) years of relevant library experience; college education can be substituted for library experience on a year for year basis up to three (3) years, along with a minimum of two years of relevant library experience.
