Quick Summary
The new MNLINK uses WorldCat Discovery for searching Minnesota library collections, but the old MNLINK system is still being used for the request management service. These two programs are not fully integrated which has resulted in some confusion.

When you log into your MNLINK account or request an item, the system will open a new tab on your browser. When the account session opens in a new tab it won't always be obvious for mobile device users. We're continuing to look for ways to improve usability with the new system, but there may be little we can do until we have a resource sharing component that is fully integrated with the new search program.
