The 2023 winners of the Minnesota Author Project will be announced on October 4 at the MLA Annual Conference in Saint Paul. Winners are chosen in three categories, Adult Fiction, Young Adult Fiction, and Communities Create.

The registration fee for the 2023 Minitex Technical Services Symposium  will be covered by Library Services and Technology Act funds. We're also pleased to announce the full program is now available. There will be 8 breakout sessions along with a keynote presentation that delves into the Symposium theme: Creating a Sustainable Future in Technical Services.

The Minitex Policy Advisory Council advises the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and Minitex in the planning, development, and evaluation of Minitex programs and services. The council has four new members in 2023, including Rachel Milani, who represents central and northern state colleges.

Minitex Outreach and Instruction librarians have conducted a DEIA review of ELM and Ebooks Minnesota resources. The process that was used and results of the work are described in the slides, data visualizations, and title lists on a new DEIA Audit page in the 'Educators and Librarians' area of eLibraryMN.org.
