Primary Function

The Annual Giving and Stewardship Coordinator creates, manages and assesses written and video appeals, programs, messages, audiences, and activities for overall effectiveness. This includes analyzing information, researching trends, and translating data and themes into effective donor communication materials. This collaborative work also includes researching and writing readable and compelling acknowledgements and stewardship reports to help advance relationships with donors.

Responsibilities

  • Annual Giving Program Development and Management (35%)
  • Donor Stewardship and Engagement (40%)
  • Gift Documentation and Donor Support (20%)
  • Other Responsibilities as Needed (5%)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of related education and experience.
  • Two+ years experience writing marketing, donor relations, stewardship, annual fund/appeals, or related materials.
  • Experience in, and commitment to, a work culture that respects and embraces diversity, inclusion, and equity; working effectively with and across diverse communities; e.g. people of color, underrepresented groups; people with both visible and invisible disabilities; women; people of various gender and sexual identities and expressions. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two+ years experience managing annual fund / annual giving programs.
  • Experience in higher education or mission-centered nonprofit organizations.
  • Experience with project management.

This is a full-time position. The base base pay of $21-24/hour.
