Quick Summary
As we all know, schools all over Minnesota are closed, or will be closing soon. This means that all learning will now be done online via Google Classroom or some other classroom management tool. The ELM databases allow for seamless integration with Google Classroom.
As we all know, schools all over Minnesota are closed, or will be closing soon. This means that all learning will now be done online via Google Classroom or some other classroom management tool. The ELM databases allow for seamless integration with Google Classroom. For example, many databases offer G Suite for Education which will enable students to easily access, share, save, and download information, including any highlights or notes they make within the articles. Teachers can incorporate the ELM resources into their learning management system in order to expand access and increase discovery from within the classroom. Canvas, Schoology, Moodle, and Blackboard allow for the embedding of links or documents directly into assignments. The permalinks within the ELM databases provide reliable access for the entire class, and eliminate the need for students to authenticate, creating a seamless workflow experience.
In the following days, and perhaps weeks, as schools are closed and many people are working from home, look for more information from us including tips and information on the ELM databases.
