There are some exciting new developments for Minnesota librarians working on Open Education and Affordable Content advocacy efforts.

Based on  the results of the survey of MN Librarians on the state of OER and Affordable Initiatives on campus, there is broad interest in joining a community of fellow practitioners who are working in this emerging area.  To facilitate this community, we have created a Google Group, and invite you to join.  The intent of the group is to give librarians working on open and affordable content initiatives a place to ask questions and share knowledge about how to  locate and create OER,  work on affordability efforts for curriculum provision, understand creative commons licensing, and more.

In addition, we are pleased to announce our new job posting for an Open and Affordable Content librarian who would work in the Cooperative Purchasing and E-Resources unit at Minitex.
