ABOUT THE JOB
Minitex is a publicly supported network of academic, public, school and special libraries in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota that work cooperatively to enhance the libraries’ services to their patron communities. Resource Sharing is a service area in which Minitex participants submit requests for returnable and nonreturnable materials to the Minitex central office located at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Staff use physical and electronic resources from the University Libraries, as well as from libraries in the Minitex region, to fill requests. The Resource Sharing Library Assistant is expected to travel to the Como Avenue storage facility and St. Paul campus libraries to process requests three times a week. The verification of incoming requests is done at the Minitex office in Wilson Library. There is an option for working from home once the training is completed for the verification process of this job.
SALARY & BENEFITS
This is a full-time position. The minimum salary is $41,600.
