Registration for Minitex's flagship conference, Minitex Connect, is now open. The event will consist of two half days on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 2-3. The first day will feature an opening keynote by James Neal, Senior Program Officer in the Office of Library Services at the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services. Laura Packer, an award-winning storyteller and author based in Minnesota, will provide the second day's keynote.
Last year's event offered attendees 24 high-quality sessions to choose from, presented by 43 experts from 18 different organizations. There's still time to submit a proposal to present at this year's event. The call for proposals will remain open until March 13.
There is no cost to attend. REGISTER TODAY.
ABOUT MINITEX CONNECT
Minitex was conceived as a library information network, and that's what it still is today. We are our connections with libraries across Minnesota and beyond. Minitex Connect celebrates this interconnectivity and builds upon it by inviting each and every part of the library community to come together to help us realize the vision that is the purpose of that connection: Empowered Communities & Enriched Lives.
