Sebastian Hammer to deliver keynote at Minitex Connect 2024

Sebastian Hammer, co-founder of the library software company Index Data, will deliver the keynote address at Minitex Connect on May 14. In 2018, he helped launch Project ReShare, which is the new resource sharing platform for MNLINK.

Minitex Connect 2024 will be held May 14 at Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The theme is "Resource Sharing and the New MNLINK." This year's keynote address will be given by Index Data President and Co-Founder Sebastian Hammer. The cost to attend is $40, and registration closes May 6.

Save the date for Minitex Connect: Interlibrary Loan and the New MNLINK

Minitex Connect will take place May 14, 2024, in person at the Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park. Last chance to register for Minitex Connect

The second annual Minitex Connect starts next Tuesday and wraps up the following day. Along the way, attendees will hear from Minnesota's Commissioner of Higher Education and two incredible keynote speakers, storyteller Laura Packer and IMLS Senior Program Officer James Neal. Additional highlights include sessions on empowering youth, resource sharing, equitable hiring practices, and an update from the Office of the Secretary of State on changes to voting rights signed into law just last month. Minnesota Office of Higher Education Commissioner Dennis Olson to offer opening welcome at Minitex Connect

The second edition of Minitex Connect will start strong with opening remarks from Minnesota OHE Commissioner Dennis Olson. Minitex Connect will gather the library community for two half days beginning Tuesday, May 2 and concluding the following day. Registration is now open, and free.
