Quick Summary
Not up-to-speed on the Minitex Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Policy Database? Here's a great rundown of all it offers.

In July 2022, a new version of the Minitex Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Policy Database was added to the Minitex website. The database helps you find information such as ILL staff contacts, lending policies, and delivery methods. You may browse all of the available libraries; they can also be filtered by library/organization name, location, and library type.
As we begin the new year, now is a good time to review or add your organization’s information to the database. This resource has been very helpful and allows us to work better together.
Minitex is currently streamlining our ILL billing processes. We hope to make the cycle of requesting, sending, and processing invoices simpler and quicker according to libraries’ different needs. To help with that, we ask you to update your organization’s ILL Policy Database information. It is especially helpful to have contact information and ILL policies (including terms for replacement policies) up to date when we send each other information on how to resolve an invoice.
Below is a nice example for keeping your ILL policies up to date:

This how-to guide is available to help you add or edit your information.
Any staff who want to edit ILL Policy Database information for their library need a MyMinitex account (create an account here if you don’t already have one and want to edit your ILL information). When creating a new account, select "Edit my organization's ILL Policy Database information" in the "Service Access" section of the form so we can configure the account appropriately.
Staff who already have a MyMinitex account and want access to edit their library’s policy information should submit a helpdesk ticket requesting this addition to their account services. You can also submit a ticket if you don't have a profile created in the database yet - we'd be happy to set that up for you.
