**UPDATE 8/21/24: ALL AVAILABLE SEATS FOR THE OPEN PEDAGOGY & INFORMATION LITERACY COURSE HAVE BEEN FILLED.**

Building on recent efforts at funding education in open licensing, this fall Minitex will fund the registration costs for a course on open practices in teaching and learning. The course Open Pedagogy and Information Literacy is part of the Library Juice Academy's Certificate in Open Education for Librarians. This is a 4-week course requiring a total commitment of 15 hours, and runs from September 2-29. We are aware the timing of the course offering may not be ideal. Find out more about the course here: https://libraryjuiceacademy.com/shop/course/313-open-pedagogy-and-information-literacy/

If you or someone at your library would like to take advantage of this offer, please fill out the short form here by August 21. We have funding for up to eight participants, and registration will be covered on a first come, first served basis. Upon completion, you will play an important role in assessing the value of the course and continuing efforts in this vein.

Participation in these certification courses for Minnesota library staff is funded through State Library Services, using LSTA funds.
