Registration is open!

Minitex Connect will take place Tuesday, May 14 on the beautiful campus of Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. For the first time, the conference will be fully in person. The cost to attend is just $40. Past editions of Minitex Connect featured sessions on a wide variety of topics, but this year's event will be tightly organized under the theme of "Resource Sharing and the New MNLINK." The timing is perfect, with MNLINK set to be relaunched just two weeks earlier, on April 30.

Staff who support interlibrary loan services or who are interested in any aspect of resource sharing are particularly encouraged to register, but there will be a lot to like for any member from the library community. For example, the day will include a panel on the latest technology trends, featuring leaders from the field. Attendees will also be served a continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The day's keynote will be delivered by Sebastian Hammer, co-founder and president of Index Data, an international software company that develops innovative products and tools for the library ecosystem.

About Sebastian Hammer

Sebastian Hammer loves to make software and believes that the best way to do it is with other people, but the most fun is when you can bring smart people together from different organizations to create entirely new ecosystems of technology. He founded Index Data 30 years ago, just a year after graduating from the University of Copenhagen, and after two years as a software developer for the Danish Library Authority. He is now based in New Hampshire.

About Minitex Connect

Minitex was conceived as a library information network, and that's what it still is today. We are our connections with libraries across Minnesota and beyond. Minitex Connect celebrates this interconnectivity and builds upon it by inviting each and every part of the library community to come together to learn and to share successes, create new ideas, and plan our best possible future together.
