Are you interested in learning about generative AI, digital accessibility in libraries, or container gardening? Consider registering for this year’s Enhancing Quality Staff (EQS) Symposium, taking place May 30th at the Humphrey Conference Center on the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus!

EQS offers a platform for library paraprofessionals and support staff to learn about various professional and personal development topics from distinguished guests. This year’s featured keynote speaker will be Karen Diver, Senior Advisor to the President for Native American Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Karen will speak on “Native American Tribes and Indigenous Peoples: How Can Libraries Build Respectful Relationships.”

The symposium will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a welcome and keynote presentations, followed by breakout sessions. Attendees choose between 20-plus sessions throughout the day. A box lunch and refreshments will be provided. The symposium will conclude at 4:00 p.m.

Registration is free for University of Minnesota employees, $80 for attendees outside the University of Minnesota, and $30 for students. Registration closes on May 20.
