Registration has opened for the 2022 MN+ Digital Collections Conference and MDL Annual Meeting! This hybrid conference will be held over two days, with an in-person day of programming at St. Paul's Union Depot on Monday, October 17th, and a full day of virtual sessions on Tuesday, October 18th.
In addition to hosting fifteen breakout sessions on various topics over the two days, we are pleased to provide two outstanding keynotes. The first, by Dr. Kirsten Delegard, will discuss the work of the Mapping Prejudice project and how it is highlighting long-standing racial inequities in Minneapolis housing policy and what can be done to create change.
The American Association of State and Local History's new Reframing History toolkit is the focus of the second keynote, given by John Garrison Marks. This toolkit provides libraries, museums, and other cultural heritage organizations with resources to more inclusively engage with history through the incorporation of new evidence and diverse perspectives.
