It’s been a busy month for the MNLINK Transition Task force. The first listening session was held on Thursday, August 11. Over 35 attendees from across the MNLINK region shared their thoughts on the current system as well as needs for the future MNLINK. A sub-committee of the task force met with ILS/IT Administrators for MNLINK members on Thursday, July 21. This conversation focused on the needs of ILS Administrators to connect to and work with the MNLINK software. Nick Banitt and Gerri Moeller have also been having discussions with libraries across the state on how they use the current MNLINK services, and how those services intersect with their specific policies and practices and their own contracts for library services. Last, but not least, a meeting was held with University of Minnesota system campus directors to talk about the project.
If you are a user of MNLINK, or help your patrons use MNLINK, please consider registering for the next listening session on August 11 at 2:00 p.m.
