The new MNLINK discovery interface was introduced on Monday, September 19 after more than two years of preparation starting with the RFP process in the summer of 2014. The new patron front-end features easy-to-use options for searching statewide online resources as well as the physical holdings of MNLINK libraries. The e-resources include Minnesota Reflections and ELM, and we are hopeful that Ebooks Minnesota content will be available soon.

I want to thank the MNLINK Marketing Committee for their efforts in creating of a set of materials that can be shared with library staff and end users. We expect to be mailing out posters, bookmarks and brochures in the coming weeks. Staff at Minitex created a fun and informative video to promote MNLINK to your users. You can view the video at z.umn.edu/mnlinkvideo. Please add the link to your websites so your patrons can use it to learn more about MNLINK.

The locations that have completed the reclamation for this project or had already updated their holdings on OCLC will have the most accurate reflection of what is available to users. We encourage you to do a reclamation if your holdings are not up-to-date on OCLC. As a reminder, the contract allows for one reclamation for MNLINK libraries at no cost until June 2018.
