In the coming weeks the Minnesota Digital Library will be launching a new resource for Minnesota Reflections users. The Minnesota Digital Library's Primary Source Sets will serve as an online resource for teachers and students. Each Primary Source Set will focus on a historic topic and will showcase resources found in Minnesota Reflections that relate to that subject. Topics include: Duluth's Morgan Park Neighborhood, American Indian Boarding Schools in Minnesota, Iron Mining in Minnesota, Minnesota's Fort Snelling, and much more. MDL's Primary Source Sets will help students develop critical thinking skills and assist teachers in introducing primary materials into their classrooms. Our plan is to model our work on what the Digital Public Library of America has already done in this area.
