Thanks to everyone who attend the 14th Annual Meeting of the Digital Library on June 7th! The event was a success, with much enthusiasm around the keynote topic of copyright and rights statements. Keynote speaker Greg Cram's breakout session in the afternoon on the New York Public Library's release of over 180,000 public domain images was also well-received. Other breakout session topics included stimulating creativity through play at work, how to approach the collection of oral histories, ideas gained from past MDL meetings and applied at one's own organization, how to start your own digital asset management initiative, and providing greater digital access to materials connected to the African-American experience.
