The transmitter unit transmits two infrared beams to the receiver unit. When a patron passes between the 2 units and breaks the infrared beams, the count increases by one. Data is stored in the Counter and extracted via a USB Port. Simply plug a thumb drive into the USB port to extract the data and then download to a PC.
