Aside from the global language content available in Ebooks Minnesota (Ojibwe, Spanish, Karen, French, Chinese, German, Somali), it was brought to my attention that we have access to a large collection of global and indigenous storybooks through a new literacy portal, Global Storybooks.  This is a "free multilingual literacy resource for children and youth worldwide."  Users can read, download, and listen to a variety of illustrated stories from more than forty countries and five continents.  A team from the University of British Columbia in Canada is responsible for developing the literacy portal, with the goal of facilitating language learning and promoting literacy.  Through the Global Storybooks portal, you can also access Indigenous Storybooks, based on the open-licensed stories created by the Little Cree Books Project.
