Academic institutions use the Schlager Digital Library in two ways: as both a reference and research tool campuswide and as an assignable e-text for use in courses. Its DRM-free ebooks and unrestricted access and downloads by students make it easy for instructors to use the titles as course readings and support institutional efforts to lower instructional materials expense. Both use models are provided at no additional cost.
