Body

This year, we turned pages, saved dollars, and answered the call (or click!) to support libraries and communities across the state. Libraries have always been a cornerstone of learning and connection; this year was no exception. Join us as we look back at the achievements, partnerships, and growth that made 2025 one for the books.

MNLINK

You weren't limited by what was on the shelf:

  • Minitex processed 308,654 interlibrary loan requests via MNLINK.

When you needed a resource, we went the extra mile, literally. #FasterThanMostMail (we are working on trademarking that)

Minnesota Digital Library

You spent the year looking back to move forward:

  • Historians visited resources on the Minnesota Digital Library roughly 1.3 million times.

We declare you a certified history buff (in our books, at least)!

Ebooks Minnesota

But there was one feature you used again, and again, and again...

  • Readers viewed titles on Ebooks Minnesota 297,197 times.

You smashed your reading goals, proving that when knowledge is accessible, your curiosity is unstoppable.

Cooperative Purchasing

We helped you stick to at least one New Year’s resolution.

  • Libraries throughout the region saved $4.3 million through cooperative purchasing.

Think of how many cardigans that can buy! Consider us your personal coupon hunters.

eLibrary Minnesota (ELM)

Others Google, you research.

  • Diligent researchers accessed 12.4 million full-text items.

You're on the verge of something groundbreaking (we can feel it).

ASKMN

AI to ask questions? Nope! You took advantage of Minitex OI (Organic Intelligence)!

  • Curious Minnesotans asked 33,316 questions via AskMN.

Did we mention AskMN is 24/7? A bot could never!

Minitex Network for Open & Affordable Practices (MNOP)

Gatekeeping? Not on your watch. We worked together to make sure learning was accessible to everyone via our MNOP program.

  • Through the OER Pathfinder mini-grant program, MNOP provided $15,000 in grant funding to support educators working towards expanding capacity for OER across various states.
  • MNOP hosted 7 professional development opportunities attended by 65 individuals across 52 institutions spanning across 7 states.

Your commitment to "Open" didn't just feel good, it did good for communities across the country.

Professional Development

You never stopped growing; 2026 is your year!

  • Minitex welcomed 5,858 attendees to 194 professional development opportunities.

You dedicated yourself to becoming a better version of yourself. Definition of main character energy.
