Position Overview:

The Libraries HR Team equips and empowers employees to be their best at work. The HR Coordinator serves as a collaborative member of the HR Libraries team to provide HR coordination in a variety of human resources areas, including workforce data management, personnel file management, search support, and onboarding/offboarding support. This position works closely with the HR Advisors and reports directly to the HR Director.

Responsibilities

  • Workforce Data Management - 50%
  • Recruiting and Administrative Support - 20%
  • Data Analytics - 10%
  • Onboarding & Offboarding Support - 10%
  • Special Projects - 5%

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, or a combination of education and/or relevant experience to equal at least four years.
  • Experience reviewing HR data requests and entering them into a Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with people from all backgrounds, communities, identities, and abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to be empathetic, diplomatic, and approachable, with the ability to establish trust with employees and managers.
  • Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and follow-through.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated initiative to identify needs and create solutions to address them.
  • Ability to learn new technology programs/features and platforms (such as Drupal, formulas within Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, etc.).

This is a full-time position. The base salary $25.50/hour.
