Responsibilities

  • Conduct inventory of physical map collection
  • Search for missing items and perform item-based problem-solving
  • Assist with collection shifts, shelving, and filing
  • Provide back-up and answer basic reference questions at a library service point

Required Qualifications

  • Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of data entry accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to perform essential physical demands

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a library or archives setting
  • Experience finding cartographic material (maps, aerial photos, atlases, etc.)
  • Experience conducting an inventory of physical materials
  • Experience shifting and organizing library or archival collections

This is a part-time, temporary position. The base pay is $17.50/hour.
