Body

Minitex is excited to announce the return of Minitex Connect for 2024. The conference will be fully in-person, and held on May 14 at the Brooklyn Park branch of Hennepin Technical College.

While previous year’s conferences have included a wide array of programming, this year’s conference will be focused on resource sharing and adjacent services. We are especially excited to offer a full day of training and discussion on the new MNLINK software, which we expect to have launched two weeks prior to the conference. Registration details will be coming soon!

We are also looking for volunteers to assist in planning the day, as well as ideas for programming.  If you would like to volunteer, or have topics that you would like to hear about, please contact Gerri Moeller at Minitex. We are looking forward to seeing our resource sharing friends and colleagues in Brooklyn Park in May!

ABOUT MINITEX CONNECT

While this is the third year of the Minitex Connect conference, it is also a callback to the long-standing Minitex Interlibrary Loan Conference, last held in 2019. We will be focused on the new MNLINK software, and also offer a separate track for library staff not directly involved with MNLINK, including administrators, public services staff and ILS technology staff.
