Teen Lit Con is where teens and authors collide. Hear authors speak, attend breakout sessions on writing, book arts, and trivia. Learn about MN book creators, get a book signed, and discover your next favorite book. Our mini con within TLC, coMIXgraphiCON, is back for year 2 with a continued focus comics and graphic novels. There are many ways to experience Teen Lit Con and you choose how to get it done.
Volunteer Opportunities
Be a TLC24 Ambassador
We are calling at book lovers, teachers, media specialists, and librarians to volunteer at the event. We need YOU to make this day a success for our teens.
Our volunteers, called Ambassadors, fill many vital roles; they may help out in the auditorium, hallways, at breakout sessions, in the exhibit hall with hands-on activities or book signings, and more!
Adults only, please. We want teens to fully experience the Con.
Join the TLC24 Book Squad
Book Squad Members are one of the most popular attractions in the exhibit hall, offering reader's advisory and connecting readers with books.
This is a high intensity, fun, and beloved job at Teen Lit Con. Qualifications include: knowledge of middle grade, teen, and YA books, the desire to connect a teen to their new favorite story, and the ability to find the perfect recommendation.
Transportation Awards for Teen Lit Con 2024
Schools in the seven-county metro region (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, & Washington) may apply for transportation awards for reimbursement of up to $350 to hire buses or vans for students to attend Teen Lit Con.
One application per district will be accepted. Collaborate with your media specialist and teachers to submit the application. You may allocate the award across buildings to hire buses, vans, or other public transportation to get students to Edina High School, but reimbursement will be capped at $350.
Applications are due Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. We will let recipients know when an award is made, so you have time to promote and fill the bus!
