ABOUT THE JOB
The University of Minnesota Libraries seeks a collaborative individual for the position of Metadata Management and Outreach Librarian to provide active leadership for the enhancement/maintenance of bibliographic, authority, holdings, and item records in the University Libraries’ library management system. Additionally, this position provides for original and complex cataloging according to established library standards, and creates authority records as required; provides metadata consultation expertise for projects within the Libraries and across other academic departments; and supports the cataloging work of the Libraries’ distinct and unique special collections, including supervision of additional Libraries staff. This position also works closely with our digital library services and preservation programs to support access and discoverability of our diverse library and archival collections.
SALARY & BENEFITS
This is a full-time position. The base salary is $60,000.
